We had a lot going on last week. One employee was on a much needed vacation, and another is on maternity leave.
Then another key person suffered a loss. A family member passed and she needed to go to be with them during this terrible time.
Of course, there was never any question about someone taking time off when they really needed it, but I just love how everyone responded. So supportive for that person, and then closing ranks together.
Some volunteered to step in to fill in any gaps that may arise, even if it wasn’t their area. One incredible team member out on maternity leave volunteered to take on her job again, temporarily, during the time of the funeral services.
We had everything covered, so there was no need to worry about staffing. It’s less about that than their knee-jerk reaction to come together — that we show up for each other without even needing to be told to.
We seriously have the best company. Love these guys.
