Research science is building the case to show how beneficial it can be to just get out! Get outside and walk in nature, that is.
Whether that is walking through a forested path, an in-city green space, or even just walking outside, all of them are helpful to your mental and physical health. That said, of the three mentioned above the forested path shows the largest benefits, but walking in one’s garden also provides excellent outcomes.
For our employees, this should definitely be provided as an option. It’s the low hanging fruit of health.
