Crostini

Try this appetizer that is lovely for holiday gatherings.
You’ll Need
- French baguette
- Olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Thinly slice bread into approximately ¼ inch thick pieces.
- Lightly coat both sides in olive oil.
- Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake approximately 7 to 10 minutes. Test around 6 minutes to give you an idea of the level of crunchiness they’ve reached.
- Let cool.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Serve with soup, salmon pate, olive tapenade, hummus or other bean dips, artichoke dip, etc.
- They can be stored in airtight container for around 1 week.
- Will keep for approximately 2 weeks in an airtight container.
Play with Your Food
- You can also use another bread such as Ciabatta. And bread that is a old or a little longer but still easy to cut can for this.
