Coaching about mental health and social media most often comes down to limiting the time you spend on it. In other words, reduce the quantity of your time online.
In addition to quantity, another critically important aspect for mental health comes down to the quality of your social connections. Toxic or even unhelpful social connections can create stress, anxiety, and actually harm your mental health.
So this month, let’s improve the quality of our social media relationships by setting boundaries. Let go of those online friends and sites unless they bring you joy, support, or understanding.
