Childhood Obesity

This article from the New York Times emphasizes the dramatic nature of the changes that are occurring for our nation’s youth and, therefore, our nation’s future.
We are only now starting to address this problem in our schools, by making high calorie drinks and snacks unavailable for chronic consumption.
This is a start. Next, we need education. Yes, for our kids, but principally for our parents. We need to coach them on making good choices for themselves, and their kids. They need to embrace a lifestyle of activity that will be infectious for their kids.
