It’s a CHALLENGE! We are asking our readers to give us their success strategies for keeping your spirits up during the covid quarantine.
Tell us what silly, fun, relaxing, playful things you do and we’ll share it with everyone, even if YOURS is located in downtown crazy town, LOL! Have fun with this and I look forward to your thoughts!

Since working from home my husband and I have more time to hang out with our very intelligent border collie. Mingo loves massages and will jump up on our massage table and place his head in the head hole and wait for his massage. My husband made a video and it went viral through a Border Collies Rock FB group. It was nice to get feedback from around the world – literally. We rarely leave the house due to COVID and actually feel a little guilty when we do leave. A dog is the only animal that loves you more than he loves himself. It’s been a great experience.
Hi Melissa!
OMG what a funny story about Mingo and the massage table. You know, nothing consistently “brings the happy” like a sweet family pet. What a great companion to be with you during this time. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Hi Will,
We have a Cairn terrier, Smudge Alpin MacRuff. He lays on the back of the sofa waiting for the bushy-tailed enemy. When they arrive in the yard, Smudge has a wide vocal range that always makes me laugh and he includes furious tail wagging.
Smudge walks his Daddy 3 to 3.5 miles most mornings. When they return, Smudge jumps on top of his crate and sits in his extra bed and looks out the window. I told him it was Puppy TV! He likes to watch the neighbours cows and keeps a sharp eye out for rodentia enemy #1.
I loved Melissa’s story about her Border Collie!
Tambra
Hi Tambra! Love this story, and it made me smile all the way to New Zealand!
Thank you!

I have tried many things to break up the boredom and isolation from quarantining during the pandemic. First, to stay connected we began Zoom meetings with family members – however, since most of us on doing those for work during the day – the last thing we wanted to do is more of them in the evening. Next was baking, followed by increased exercise due to the weight gain (UGH), followed by movies and puzzles. Let me just say, when you spend days putting a huge and complex puzzle together only to find you are missing 3 pieces – it is really frustrating. For the last several months, I have been creating and sending cards to family and friends. Many are responding with their own back to me. Getting mail and experiencing the anticipation each day in seeing what’s in the mailbox is such a treat. The best part of working from home is the added time I spend with my canine companion, Izzy. She is such a love! We have trained her to do a few tricks but are struggling to teach her not to jump on people. Any suggestions are appreciated! I do enjoy reading about Smudge and Mingo.
You are keeping such a positive attitude Michelle! That in itself is a great defense against the boredom and cabin fever creating by the pandemic. I so love the letter writing that you’re doing. This site has you write letters to seniors, which is such a win for everyone! https://www.lettersagainstisolation.com/
Thanks for finding the good Michelle.
